C.S. Duffy wrote scripts for film and TV for over a decade, and when that made her so bitter she caught herself cycling past the office of a production company giving it the finger, she quit the film industry and went to teach preschool in Stockholm. During the kids’ naps she wrote Life is Swede, a thriller in the form of a blog, which led her into the wonderful world of self publishing. The final book in her first series Glasgow Kiss was released in January 2019, and the Stockholm Murders series launched in April 2019.

In addition to her own books, her supernatural thriller The Stranger/Annars Tar Jag Dig is currently running on Storytel in seventeen countries and has been translated into Swedish, Danish and Dutch. She has several film and TV projects in development including the thriller film Guilty (she’s mostly stopped giving producers the finger) and she once worked on an oil refinery. She was selected as a Spotlight author at Bloody Scotland in 2018.
